World Cup Fitness
Watching it though I can't help but think a lot of the players look like they are lacking in fitness. Now, I know it may just be because of the altitude, but I wonder....if they had used stationary bikes as part of their fitness regime would they be any fitter?

So what exactly is a stationary bike?
After a second though it became clear, a stationary bike is just an exercise bike. Simple isn't it? So why don't they call it an exercise bike? Well, you will have to ask someone else that.
And just for if you were wondering, a used stationary bike is purely a second-hand exercise bike.
I hope this might clear things up for a few people.
Wordpress is sandboxed so lets try blogspot
I think I would be wise to remember the story of the tortoise and the hare, rather than going off at a sprint it may be wiser to pace myself.
Anyway, wish me luck!

Used Stationary Bikes
Out of all the home exercise equipment available for losing weight the used stationary bike seems to be the most popular, they are light, easy-to-use and many modern exercise bikes can be folded away easily.
The used stationary bike is a great way to exercise conveniently and comfortably, especially in the comfort of own home. They are easy to use and a fairly good fat burning exercise.
However because the exercise only tends to involve the leg and buttock muscles over a short range of motion they cannot burn tons of calories so in order to make the exercise bike more effective for losing weight it may be best to exercise on the used stationary bike for longer periods to obtain the best fat burning benefits.
Choosing a used stationary bike
With so many used stationary bikes available on the market it can be a challenging task finding the best bike for burning off fat.
Some used stationary bikes on the market come with various level settings allowing you to train that little harder to develop fitness. Many modern exercise bikes also have digital displays that show your current heart rate, estimation of calories burnt and the distance travelled. Although remember the number of calories burnt during any exercise really depends on how a person exercises (the pace) as well as their genetic make up or body type.
Many stationary bikes can be folded away for easy storage however the more features usually means an increase in price.
There are different types of stationary bikes available and some have different features which can help burn more calories, for example exercise bikes with arm movement attachments allow you to work the arms to help tone them and burn extra calories.
What are the positive and negative aspects when trying to lose weight using a used stationary exercise bike.
